We recommend that you have a broad-band (high speed) Internet connection.

4.         What type of academic credit do I receive for completing a
            course?
Letter grades are not assigned at the completion of the course; instead, we award contact (clock) hours. The number of contact hours per course varies and will be listed on the course description page.

5.         Is there a difference between contact hours and continuing
            education units (CEUs)?
Contact hours and CEUs are not synonymous; however, most accrediting agencies view 1 CEU as the equivalent of 10 or 15 contact hours. Please contact your accrediting agency to determine the number of contact hours equivalent to 1 CEU.

7.         How do I prove that I have completed a course?
Some accrediting agencies may require evidence of course completion. The Certificate of Completion may provide ample proof of completion; however, you may be requested to submit additional documentation to verify that you have taken a course. If this occurs, we encourage you to print and submit copies of your responses to the assessment activities, course journal entries, summary reflections, and discussion board questions to the appropriate agency. You may want to develop a portfolio for these items.

8.         How do I receive my Certificate of Completion?
Once you have completed all course requirements, you will need to e-mail Training Teachers Online to indicate completion of the course. We will mail you a Certificate of Completion, which will include the name of the course and the number of contact hours awarded.

Please remember that you will be responsible for completing the course requirements. These consist of: reading assignments, evaluation activities, journal entries, and an end-of-the-course survey.

Our courses allow you to monitor your progress, such as providing the correct answers to the evaluation activities. Furthermore, select courses will contain video/audio links to enhance the interaction of the lessons.

You will be encouraged to post your responses to the discussion board questions on the Internet for other course participants to view. You will also be given the option to reply to other course participants’ responses. Participation in the discussion board forum will provide you an excellent opportunity to enhance your understanding of select educational topics.
